Before anything else, there is the two of us.
We are Iulia and Robert Mirea.
Husband and wife, partners in life, and the people behind The Mireas.
We have built our life together, grown together and, somewhere along the way, our passion for imagery became part of our story too.
Today, we have the privilege of stepping into the stories of other people for a day and preserving them through photography and film.
And perhaps because we know just how quickly time passes, we care so deeply about what remains.
HOW IT ALL BEGAN
Telling stories through images since 2009.
Our story in the world of weddings began with Robert in 2009, driven by a genuine passion for film, imagery and cinematography.
What followed were years in which that passion grew into experience. Weddings, people, places, thousands of hours behind the camera and in the editing room, and with them, an increasingly personal way of telling a story.
Over time, photography became a natural part of our world, bringing another way of preserving the same emotions and the same care for people.
That is how The Mireas grew.
Not as a project built overnight, but naturally, from everything we have learned, experienced and created throughout the years.
Today, photography and film come together under the same name, the same vision and the same care for every story you entrust to us.
HOW WE SEE A WEDDING
People first. Always.
We love spectacular places, beautiful light, architecture and the elegance of a carefully composed frame.
But what makes a wedding truly memorable are the people within it.
The look in your parents' eyes. Your grandparents' hands. The friends who have grown alongside you. The emotion before the ceremony. That laugh you would recognise anywhere. The way you look for each other across a crowded room.
That is where our attention goes.
We believe in a balance between the images that happen naturally and those we create with intention. Between natural and editorial. Between emotion and aesthetics.
We want everything we create to be beautiful, but beauty alone is not enough.
It has to mean something.

Robert has been documenting weddings since 2009, and the years spent behind the camera have taught us one thing: the most meaningful films are the ones that make you feel it all again, even years later.
The voice of someone you love. The emotion before the ceremony. Your friends' laughter. The music, the movement, the energy of an evening and those few seconds when the rest of the world seems to disappear.
We notice them, anticipate them and transform them, through imagery, sound and editing, into a cinematic film that preserves the atmosphere and personality of your story.
Because time will change many things. But the voices, the glances, the people and the way the day felt will still be there.
And for a few moments, you will be there again.

Beyond the cameras.
We are two people who have grown together and who continue to choose each other, both in life and in everything we build.
We love travelling, places with a story, long evenings, things made with care and people who choose what feels right for them rather than what they are expected to choose.
We are different in the little things and very much alike in the ones that matter.
Perhaps that is exactly why working together feels so natural to us. We know each other’s rhythm, we trust one another and we share the same care for everything that carries the name The Mireas.
For you, we want that to feel effortless.
